Interview on Crime Prevention 101

On August 30, 2008, I appeared on Crime Prevention 101, an Internet talk show hosted by Susan Bartelstone, a crime prevention specialist and personal safety expert. Dubbed "the Ann Landers of Self Defense," she's helped thousands of men and women with her practical advice.

I was lucky enough to meet Susan online several years ago while I was researching my article about the Progesterex e-mail hoax. Since then, she has advised me on several self-defense themed chains. It was a pleasure to get to chat with her about these hoaxes and the chain letter phenomenon in general. Susan was gracious enough to allow me to share the archived version of that conversation with you.
