Most recently circulated as part of a quartet of questionable warnings including satay and cucumber, shampoo, and instant noodles, this warning is mostly malarkey. PRAWNS & VIT C DO NOT eat shrimp/Prawn if you have just taken VITAMIN C pills!! This will cause you to DIE in ARSENIC (As) toxication within HOURS!! Snopes.com, reports that there is no reason to believe this claim. Earlier versions of the chain claimed that there were real cases of prawn-related deaths reported in Taiwan. This appears to be fiction as well. An anonymously authored and haphazardly forwarded e-mail warning should never replace legitimate medical resources and your physician for health advice.
